Fishing report of Feburary 19th and more !

Hello, world anglers!

How's your fishing day recently?

Hope you are having wonderful fishing life wherever you are.

As title said, today's article is about what anglers caught on Feburary 19th, reported by Yoshino marina resort.

Let's take a look!

ウッカリカサゴ

Golden threadfin bream, Yellowbarred marbled rockfish, Red marbled rockfish, Yellowback seabream and Seven banded rockfish

In Susaki, we got lots of snowfall before this day. So, there were not so many boats going for fishing.

But, anglers who went fishing got what they deserved.

Captain Okkamu we always introduce can take you where these fishes are.

As we have been informing since last year, Captain Okkamu is constantly catching fishes.

If you come to Japan first time ever and would like to try fishing without being lonely with empty cold box, we highly recommend him to go fishing with.

For the details for fishing tour is here (see "Boat Fishing・Raw Bait Style").

Location of port is here.

Captain Okkamu above is mainly fishing with raw or live bait but we, Susaki Tourism Fishing Center, provide lure fishing service as well.

Fishing style is called "Tairaba" which is effective for Red Snappers and other kinds of snappers. Here in Susaki, winter is the best season for big snappers. We highly recommend Tairaba style fishing service.

Detail is here.

As well as lure fishing service, we also provide the service that carries anglers to offshore inlets for Smallscale Blackfish and Striped Beakfish. Both fishes become fatter and fatter in winter and more tastier.

It is highly recommend to aim those fishes in winter . Detail is here.

Aaaaaand, not done yet this time.

In Susaki, there is famous cherry blossom called "Yukiwari Sakura" in Japanese.

Yukiwari means ice-breaking.

That means,  Ice-breaking Cherry Blossom.

This Cherry Blossom used to bloom by breaking snow.

However, due to climate change happening recent few decades, there wasn't enough snow fall.

Therefore, we couldn't have seen Cherry Blossom breaking ice to bloom.

BUT!

On Feburay 18th, 2020, Susaki got lots of snow fall and finally Cherry Blossom turned to be a Ice-breaking Cherry Blossom!

As of Feburary 20th, the day I am writing this article, there is no more ice left but,

Ice-breaking Cherry Blossom is now fully blooming.

As you may know, cherry blossom's blooming term is short. It won't last until the end of Feburary.

If you are interested in seeing this, you need to be hurry.

Hope that you visit this place !
