And, this is the news that might enchance angler's immunity!
A company located in Kochi prefecture called Sea floor Control has just released a new model of Tai Kabura (or Tai jig).
That is this.
This is a tai kabura made by featuring one of famous Japanese fishing comic, Tsuribaka Nisshi.
On March 22nd, Susaki City and media conducted a trial event of this new product.
Then, something happened.
First....
Six banded groupers and Red marbled rockfish, aaand tasty dark rough-backed puffer(do not attempt to try to eat this puffer. It is very hard to distinguish non-poisonous ones).
This was just a beginning. Next one is even amazing.
White Tilefish, estimated market price is about 150USD!
And now, introducing super rare fish that is too big for this tai jig.
Spotted Grouper 90cm, 35.4in, 9kg, 19.8lb!!!!
This fish hooked off around 10m deep from the surface and everyone became hopeless to catch this fish.
However, gall bladder expanded and came out from its mouth due to the loss of control of water pressure.
Then, fish slowly come to float to the surface.
I was on the boat and watched all the footage but that was something extraodinary.
Fish came out to the surface 30m away from the boat and the captain maneuvered a boat to get closer to fish and
finally other angler successfully scooped it!
Congratulations to this angler!
