As title said, yellowfin tuna game has started in Susaki!!
The biggest was 15kg(33lb)!! It was caught when anglers casted lures for bonito.
Yellowfin Tuna！！
Because I have never done Yellowfin Tuna game before, I was imagining yellowfin tuna is the fish for summer, but anglers can catch them even in Spring.
Season started that early, then we might be able to see record-breaking monster this year!
The biggest one I have seen so far is one caguth by the captain of Yoshino Marina Resort, 70kg (154lb)!!
This is a bonito. As introduced in last article, spring bonito has been said that less fat compared to bonito caught in fall season but one I ate the other day was quite tasty with appropriate amount of body fat. Not this year at least, but if you ever have a chance to come to Japan in Spring, this is a must to try.
This day, angler got a lot of bonito along with yellowtail tuna. ↓

Even though Yellowfin Tuna season has just started, how many in total anglers got in one day.

Captain Okkamu above is mainly fishing with raw or live bait but we, Susaki Tourism Fishing Center, provide lure fishing service as well.
Fishing style is called "Tairaba" which is effective for Red Snappers and other kinds of snappers. Here in Susaki, we highly recommend Tairaba style fishing service.
