Hope you guys are doing great in each country.
This time, we report about what kind of fishes are caught in Susaki with bait fishing.
Compared to last year, there are not so many calm days for fishing.
So, updating new fishing information is not as frequent as last year.
But, on January 31st, there were so many fishing boats launched and several fishing reports are available.
Previoius information, Tai Kabura is one of them.
This time, we introduce about bait fishing in Susaki on same day, January 31st.
Let's take a look at the inside of three cold boxes.
First one!
There are beautiful Goldent Threadfin Seabreams ! And, White Trevally on the left. And, maybe or maybe not you realized, there is a parasite below White Trevally.
That parasite lives inside of fish mouth and suck up body fluid. Generally looking, it seems not to be used as a food resources but it is quite tasty when grilled. Taste is like shrimp according to me.
Let's take a look at the second cold box!
Lots of Horse Mackerel!! I guess that angler hit the big group of horse mackerel!
Third cold box with variety of fishes. Horse mackerel, Yellowback seabream, and Crimson seabream.
Yellowback seabream tends to live in 80m or deeper area and Crimson seabream tends to live 20m~60m.
In the sea of Susaki, there are various targets for both Lure fishing and Bait fishing.
And, the experienced captains for both lure and bait fishing take anglers to great fishing spots everyday.

Captain Okkamu above is mainly fishing with raw or live bait but we, Susaki Tourism Fishing Center, provide lure fishing service as well.
Fishing style is called "Tairaba" which is effective for Red Snappers and other kinds of snappers. Here in Susaki, winter is the best season for big snappers. We highly recommend Tairaba style fishing service.

As well as lure fishing service, we also provide the service that carries anglers to offshore inlets for Smallscale Blackfish and Striped Beakfish. Both fishes become fatter and fatter in winter and more tastier.
