Alright, let's see what anglers got for the first fishing of the year of 2021.
Marbled Rockfish as a first picture. It seems that anglers found a sweet spot.
Second result is Horse mackerel. As we have been informing here, horse mackerel is one of most general and well-distributed fish in Japan.
Good for catching, good for eating, and good for giving.... Fish of 3 Goods. That is Horse Mackerel.
Third box is filled with lots of yellowtail.
Anglers seemed to encounter a pack of yellowtail. So Jealous.....why? Please keep reading til the end of this article.

In Japanese custom, Red Snapper or Red Seabream is a symbol of good things such as winning in competition, wedding, birthday, and so on. It is good to catch this fish in the beginning of the new year.
I am surprised that Dolphin fish was caught in the middle of winter. Dolphin fish is ususally pretty plain taste but only in winter, it gets fatter and more tasty.

Captain Okkamu above is mainly fishing with raw or live bait but we, Susaki Tourism Fishing Center, provide lure fishing service as well.
Fishing style is called "Tairaba" which is effective for Red Snappers and other kinds of snappers. Here in Susaki, winter is the best season for big snappers. We highly recommend Tairaba style fishing service.

As well as lure fishing service, we also provide the service that carries anglers to offshore inlets for Smallscale Blackfish and Striped Beakfish. Both fishes become fatter and fatter in winter and more tastier.

Tuskfish. That is it. Since this is my first Tuskfish, I brought this home to eat. Taste was pretty soft and plain. It's hard to eat it without adding any seasoning.
