How are you doing, everyone?
It has been consecutive hot days these days. Drink water often to not get dehydrated.
How have you been in last weekend?
I went to Shinjo river to cool down. Shinjo river is relatively less famous compared to Shimanto and Niyodo river, but water quality in Shinjo river is still clear and clean, plus lots and various kinds of fish! Come visit there once this summer! You won't be disappointed!
So, now we are in main topic of the day.
Our new captain Okkamu did again! Everyday is too hot to fish recently but some people gained great experiences while the others take a rest in home.
Look at what his boat caught.
These two cold boxes , both 1m long (39in), are filled with bonitos about 1.5kg~3kg (3lb~6lb).
He and his customers went to offshore of Susaki to Kouzu, 120m deep, and caught them with drifting fishing technique. Rig was 40lb leader line and hook is size 13 for Yellowtail Amberjack with a hard wire.
Last time when we had a harsh condition, he reported his result with photos of lots of fishes.
This time, again, Captain Okkamu proved us how well he is familiar with the sea of Susaki.
