Best Fishing Season has come to Susaki!!!

Hello, anglers!!

How have you been? Here in Susaki is getting into the best season of the year, FALL !!

Many and various kinds of fishes are going to be available under cool weather, not under severe sweaty hot weather anymore!!

I can't believe that deadly hot summer this year has just finished a week ago and we start forgetting it already.

Anyway, weather gets nicer and nicer everyday and that means that best fishing season has arrived at Susaki!

Look at these photos sent from our captain, Okkamu.

2.5kg (5.5lb) ~ 4.5kg (9.9lb) Yellowfin tuna and Bonito!

Bonito, Yellowfin tuna and Rainbow runner . Beautiful collaboration!

Huge dolphin fish and Eastern little tuna below it.

These were caught by both raw bait and ※Ebing fishing style.

Since Yellowfin and Bonito are swimming at the similar range in the ocean, it is hard to target one from another but it seemed that there was a way to catch only either one. Anglers who found that caught only either one they want more.

As an angler, I am very interested in the way to  distinguish only one kind of fish from the group of various kinds of fish.

Anyway, Susaki is getting into the best season for fishing. Anyone interested in catching tons of Yellowfin tuna and Bonito, please do not hesitate to contact the information below.

※Ebing:

This is used to be fishermen's rig to catch tuna and bonito. One of famous Japanese anglers, Seikai Murakoshi improved this rig adapted to rod & reel gear. Rig is a hard wire tied with main line and a jigging lure without hook is attached with a hard wire instead of a sinker. From the other end of hard wire, there is about 2m (6ft ) leader line (40lb mono line) with a single hook tied with. As bait, a plastic straight worm is on a hook.
